Recent goings-on in bullet point form
- Fourth of July a bit of a disappointment; no fireworks, certain family members more-than-usually insufferable, and I'm worried about Grandma whose dementia is getting worse.
- However, I did get to go to Hershey Park with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mmejavert! And the lines were surprisingly short, so we got to ride lots and lots of roller coasters and spend the hottest part of the afternoon floating in the lazy river.
- Things I brought back from that trip include a new freckle diaspora across my nose and cheeks, and some sort of flu. I blame the dodgy water in the lazy river.
- Still don't have a job, although there's a local pet store that would probably hire me part-time since I've done that sort of thing before.
- Starting next week I'll be taking an evening calculus course at the local community college. Don't ask. One of the jobs I really want requires math up through Calc II.
After two or three days of furious clipping and mucking around in Sony Vegas, I have the first draft of a Master fanvid to Rammstein's 'Ich Will.' Because it's a song about performance, and what is Simm!Master but a performance artist who makes sure the cameras are always rolling? Just beware audience participation. Anyway, does anyone want to be my vid beta? I just need someone to conk me on the head and go "your timing is b0rked here" or "I don't know what you're getting at with this section" and exchange meta with me.

Hershey Park is awesome I just got back from Busch Gardens myself.

It's kind of a loose pastiche of the official music video for the same song, although you should probably watch the vid first to make sure it stands on its own. :)
