Okay. Just for background--ever since you mentioned taking the last two years of high school at college (something I would previously have believed to be impossible), I've thought the whole idea was incredibly cool and have been looking for one to get out of my shithole high school. Today was especially shitty, but I won't go into that... urgh, homophobes. Anyway. I've been looking, and looking, and found absolutely NOTHING in my area... then lo and behold... I get a leaflet about scholarships to Simon's Rock College of the Bard. Which specifically deals in the situation mentioned above.
Happiness.
There's only one eensy weensy little tiny problem. That diminutive little problem is that this school happens to be in Massachusetts.
Massachusetts is a long way from Washington, DC.
And although I want to get out of here, it mostly involves getting out of my high school and off the East Coast--which, obviously, that wouldn't fix, but anyway. My point is, I'm actually quite attached to my parents. And my cats. And my home. So basically, I could get out of my high school and off to college, but I'd have to move out two years early, which I'm not quite sure if I'm ready to do. Now, this is a great opportunity and if it was within two hours of my house I would enroll without a second thought, but Massachusetts? I'm going to have to think on this one... I mean, the weather is even shittier than DC.
Definitely going to have to think about this.
