tenlittlebullets: (KMFDM sucks)

We got the piano tuned today--it was horribly flat and out of tune, and although it sounds much better now it's also a bit... odd, to hear it finally being in tune. Also I haven't been listening to the PotO soundtrack as much... I've heard it so many times it's lost its meaning, so I'm just relaxing back into my Rammstein and KMFDM. All my CDs are horribly scratched though, possibly a side effect of carrying them around in a plastic bag to save space. My discman has somehow compensated for that big scratch on Mutter and now plays it pretty smoothly, but Live aus Berlin is hopeless--Sehnsucht, Wollt Ihr, and Seemann are all unlistenable because of all the skipping.

Note to self: Do not satisfy doodling compulsion by scribbling KMFDM lyrics in notebook, especially if said notebook also contains several gory/violent drawings. Was forcefully reacquainted with my guidance counselor today after a teacher looked over my shoulder. I had a good streak going too--made it through all of first semester without being hauled in for counseling. Also do not satisfy doodling compulsion by drawing large sketches of Snape-ish people on the desks, as school considers this graffiti. They're so twitchy.

I need some good Phantom fanfiction. Anyone got recommendations? (Have already devoured everything written by the Scorpion and the Grasshopper.)

And my teachers wondered why I always drew on my arms. It was so I wouldn't mess up their precious desks! The sad thing is, I've been in college for 3 years now and I still do that.

Reminds me of the time I wrote "If you are reading this... you are NEXT to DIE!" in the class notebook and the teacher sent me to guidance. Come on... if I were really planning to kill someone, would I write it in the class notebook?!

Stupid guidance. Stupid high school.

I know. No sense of humour at all.

Oh, I know what you mean. Last year, we had our piano tuned for the first time since like, 1975. It was HORRIBLE, it was almost an entire step sharp, I think. And the first time afterwards that I played on it, I had to stop and check all of my notes because I thought I was playing really really off.

Ours was about a quarter step flat. Now whenever I play it feels like I'm playing a Yamaha, because it's "sharp" now.

Actually it's still not completely in tune--the guy said it would take two tunings for it to take. May be why it sounds weird.

Ha I remember once someone wrote something like "This is so boring" on my desk in the Health room, and then someone replied saying "Yeah, I know!"... And then we got this whole conversation going, and everyone who sat at that desk throughout the day added to it. It was really fun.

Of course then one day I walked in and someone had scrubbed the desk clean and the teacher announced that if anyone was caught writing on a desk he or she would be suspended or something.

So now I just randomly scribbles things in Elvish on my desks.

*whistles innocently*
