Got taken off to an Orioles game today. Jumpin' Jesus Christ on a pogo stick, they must've been fucking asleep when they were in the field--but then again, so must the Indians, because the O's won 12-11. Haha, Cleveland know who's boss... their pitcher deliberately walked both Surhoff and Palmeiro, and Tejada kicked so much ass at bat.
I like baseball, actually. So many statistics and odd little rules, and only one thing happening at a time. I did get all sunburned though, especially on my knees and forehead... gr.
I got to drive home from Baltimore. Horrible traffic, but I did pretty well, and I actually remembered to accelerate into the lane changes, which I constantly forgot last time I was on the interstate.
And now I have another hideous English project, and I'm procrastinating by writing in my LJ. What fun. I have to write a short story with a political or social message... who would've known assigning such a thing could suck all the fun out of it? (Also, it's very difficult to keep the characters from swearing at each other and referring to things inappropriate to mention in a school paper. Maybe I should've picked a different message.)
