Nyargh, I haven't reread my Harry Potter books in way too long. Just saw an amusing quote on someone's icon and was trying to remember which fanfic that came from, when--duh!--I realized it came from the fifth book itself. Bad me. (The same thing happens with Good Omens, but that's more a product of reading large amounts of fic while and immediately after reading the book. It tends to get mixed up.)

Had a loooong phone conversation with

elfmanfan. Much of which consisted of long silences, since neither of us is a particularly wonderful phone conversationalist. But ah, well--and we worked out a few travel details for me to get to her homecoming dance on time. w00t. *kish*

Fucking hell, it's just sunk in that it's the weekend. I thought it would never come. *drops dead* Frequent breaks are a goooood thing. And then after we get back from Thanksgiving break it's only three weeks or so until term ends... wow. That went by fast.

I've been so strung out all evening that I know I'm just gonna crash in an hour or two, fall onto my bed, and sleep till noon at the earliest. Urgh, I definitely need this weekend.
