I have discovered a new, magical substance: JoltRocket.
Works on the same principle as fizzing blue Bawls, except with more kick: add a liberal amount of SkyRocket syrup to a bottle of Jolt cola.
Aside from that nice cherry vanilla flavor, it sends your heart rate into overdrive like nobody's business. Oh hell yeah.
I'm almost at the bottom of the bottle and considering ingesting a NoDoz pill as well; by 3am I'll probably be devouring Apache and PHP tutorials and opening up a fully automated fanfiction archive for the hell of it. Unfortunately a LAMP configuration is impossible due to the absence of L, but who knows, maybe I could open up my own little webserver. And get murdered by the computer gremlins who control the campus network, but oh well.
I have no idea what I'm talking about, but I am determined to figure it out by the end of the night.
Edited to add @ 1:15 AM: Well, I have a pretty good grasp of the down-and-dirty of databases after a few SQL tutorials--we'll see how well it actually serves me once that download of mySQL finishes--but have yet to figure out how to get information from Web forms to databases, though I have the sneaking suspicion that this is where the PHP comes in. Also have no idea where Apache figures into all of this, but at least I'm one step closer to understanding. w00t.
