A few potential rant topics, for my own future reference should I wish to expand upon them...
Well, didn't that just get more and more pretentious as it went. Most of it's related though... irony, hypocrisy, repetition, theme and variation. I'm going to look at this three days later and laugh at myself, but there are two or three in the above list that I'm just dying to go off on.
- By bringing God into politics, the Religious Right are destroying any credible claim to Christian morality they might have had
- It's a really sad state of affairs when the national bogeyman figure has a better grasp of foreign policy than the guy who's supposed to be leading the country
- If we ban left-handed writing, it won't be denying anyone anything--they can still write with their right hands! (AKA my favorite metaphor for the tired old gay rights debate)
- Nietzschean Rant the First: Whoever fights monsters...
- Nietzschean Rant the Second: Human stagnation, you are not as unique as you might think, and what the Ubermensch might be
