Oh dear. Have just discovered a pitch/speed control plugin for Winamp. ph33r. The results?
OLC = Hilarity. Chipmunk'd!Michael Crawford is funny enough, but tenor!Sarah Brightman cracked me up, and the final lair becomes far more amusing when it's turned into a half-speed gay love triangle.
Rammstein = Alvin and the Chipmunks sing 'Amerika.' Need I say more? *giggle*
Sisters of Mercy = Not nearly as funny as it could be. Half the time the vocals are so low anyway that chipmunking it just makes it sound like a boyband singer trying to do a double-speed cover. And now I have the mental image of Justin Timberlake singing "I hear you calling, Maria-ia-ian" and must go commit hara-kiri.
