Ramblings on OotP and spoilers...

You know, it just occurs to me that OotP is the second HP book someone spoiled for me before I even read it. And both the spoilers had to do with Sirius in the biggest, most awful way where they spoiled the whole book for me, and both I tried to shove to the back of my mind while reading and make it a surprise.

See, Prisoner of Azkaban came out in Britain before it did in the US. So I was reading reviews of it on Amazon before its American release but when the Brits already had it, just to see what they thought, and someone posted 'OMG it was such a great twist that Sirius was Harry's godfather and a good guy all along!' And I was pissed, but I still managed to forget it by the time I actually got the book. And I was lurking around the OotP board on mod duty on HarryPotterRealm one day, when someone posted something that says 'OMG I know who dies its Sirius!' And I was extremely pissed, but I managed to convince myself they were lying or misled. Well, guess what, kiddies. URGH.

Grrrr. Fie, fie on all you spoiler-people out there, may you all be drawn, quartered, and dumped in pits of molten lava. DIE.

Dude that fucking BLOWS. I came on after I read the book and some assclown posted one word. ONE WORD. And it was in a thread titled "I want to know who dies" or SOME STUPID SHIT like that. This fuckhead typed "Sirius" and that was IT. I'm so glad I already knew - but I PM'd him telling him NOT to do that. And posted a comment. I was truly annoyed.

That sucks that PoA was ruined for you. Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite Harry Potter book so far, so if that shit was screwed up for me, I KNOW I would have been pissed. Wankers.

*laughs* The blue eyebrow thing is just eyeshadow... unfortunately that was the last of it so I can't do it again.
