*blink*
I just spent all morning researching Noah Webster and his influence on American English... and just found out that my presentation was supposed to be about Samuel Johnson.
...oops.
I really hope the teacher will be amused by this, because class starts in ten minutes and besides, Webster's more interesting.
I suppose it doesn't help either that I spent most of last night researching... 19th century urban warfare. Which has what to do with lexicography, you might ask? Absolutely nothing! But it's fun.
And as if I haven't been random enough for the day, I just about died from the slashy when PRC!Marius does his "My place is here, I fight with you" thing in One Day More and uses the singular...! "Ma place est là, auprès de toi." Dude, as if the TAC didn't do enough to suggest improbable slash pairings.
Also, have been making icons! Many icons! Icons in French! Must run to class now, will post them possibly when I get back from work.
