Happy things!
- Someone burned me a CD of the Mikado. Which... okay, our concert production of it rocks hard, but it sounds 2189051 times better with a full orchestra. MASSIVE GILBERT AND SULLIVAN FANGIRLISM, YO. I don't suppose any of you would be willing to send me Pirates of Penzance or HMS Pinafore? *puppy eyes*
- I put up a birdfeeder on the back porch earlier this week. It's a flimsy dollar-store feeder with dollar-store suet, and I was worried it wouldn't attract any birds, but holy shit, they're fighting over it. And they're so cute. No sparrows up here, oddly, but plenty of chickadees, titmice, nuthatches, assorted woodpeckers, and a few I can't identify.
- First-day cramps are the evil, but second-day cramps can easily be knocked out with Midol. Which has caffeine in it, apparently, on top of my normal meds, so yay hyperactivity and disgusting cheerfulness.
- Living beyond one's means through the internet: top hats, pointy objects, lace, parasols, fans, perfumes... if I ever get myself an iron and a decent place to put the sewing machine, totally making myself things. More poofy skirts, sewing ruffles onto shirts, a long vest, waistcoats, a frock coat maybe... whee!
- Wanna make a websiiiiiite.
