Bit of an update on the allergy situation...
The Epi-Pen, which is essentially an injection of pure adrenaline to interrupt the allergic reaction, made me twitchy and hyper for about an hour. An interesting side effect was that my legs felt funny and I tended to stagger when I walked and swish theatrically, leading me to act uncannily like one Captain Jack Sparrow.
Then the Epi-Pen wore off, the Benadryl made me tired, and I slept for the rest of the afternoon.
Right now I feel bitchy because I just woke up, and I still feel a little bit like I'm going to throw up. Eurgh.
