Ahh! Phantom! I went to see a movie today and they played the Phantom trailer! It looks so awsome! Especially the costumes. Thought I'd let you know that there was another Phantom fan floating around. I've seen it 3 times, here in Michigan and in Toronto, CA. The Canadian cast rawked! w00t!

I mean, really! Where does he get away with being that hot?!

I highly doubt that there is a torture chamber, but I would be delighted to death if it made a cameo. Hell, there's a black mask in Point of No Return ...

Yeah, the black mask is a nice touch, although too! freekin! small!

Someone on a message board won a copy of the current movie script on Ebay, and according to her the scene with the mirrors is after Masquerade. Raoul tries to follow Erik, ends up in the basement labyrinth, gets trapped in a hall of mirrors, Mme Giry rescues him... or something like that.

Perhaps the movie will, if not exactly follow Leroux, at least throw in little mentions that might hint that someone involved in making it has read the damn book.
