Finally at camp!

The Good

• Damn, it's camp! It's a good thing! </Martha Stewart<


• Got a dorm room to myself, brought my Mp3 player and nice speakers, all the comforts of home. Haha.


• Other girls on my floor are nice


• Went to South Street. Lots of fun, bought a DVD of Blade Runner, which I've been wanting to see for a while and will probably watch tonight


• Had fun in sketching class, which is the only thing I've had so far, besides web design [which I'm currently in, and currently have free time in while the teacher goes over the basics]


• Saw The Hulk last night, wasn't quite as bad as I'd thought it would be.

The Bad

• Everyone here is a preppie, and none of my 3rd session friends are here. Some of them are nice, but lots of them are utter ditzes


• Only non-preppies are two 'sk8er' 'freaks' who listen to Kittie and Slipknot, smear black lipstick on their pasty faces, and are worse than the preppies for excluding people who are different


• Hot. No air conditioning in dorms. Auggggghhhh...


• Bus drivers always play radio really loud, on stations so shitty that I sighed in relief when Linkin Park came on. Linkin Park. ARGH.

The Ugly
Walked into dorm. Someone was blasting Avril Lavigne. The same Avril Lavigne song that was in the Top 40 last year. If pop culture is so fickle and trendy, why can't it bump Avril out?! And when it's not Avril it's some horrible, shitty rap.

Retaliation: Mp3 playlist of the most inaccessible 'music' of Einstürzende Neubauten, Front 242, Merzbow, etc. blasted at 10:00 at night. Ahhhhh.

It's so good to be back here.

JESUS, I know EVERYONE there is preppy. People kept giving me strange looks and I wasn't even dressed that odd. This lady for the theater and acting was such a bitch. She was saying something like 'i don't see how you can wear boots in weather like this, even if you're a goth!' I had no words for that stupid comment. CAN'T STAND SOME OF THEM!!
But some of the classes are pretty good and it was fancy meeting you. Hehe.
Oh god, I can't stand Avril. She sucks and is such a poser. Her music sucks too.
