And no, their names were not Sister Simplice and Sister Perpetue.

Saw both Les Mis shows yesterday; Minarik's still out, so Trafton was Grantaire both shows, and Ben was on as Javert for the evening. :D

Ben is awesome but you didn't need to hear me say that, did you? Lovely voice as always, and the end of the Suicide was really well done this time. JOJ and Jenny are still awesome, of course. And pursuant to the ribbing he got the other night, Adam is now saying "revolution" instead of "evolution."

Much win from the boys; I kind of miss Minarik telling Factory Girl and Fantine to "tear her hair and rip her eyes out!", but I caught Anderson going "Get back, it's Monsieur Madeleine!" when they were fighting, which made me go :D. Don keeps getting into fights in Master of the House; in the matinee Doug even tried to break his nose. V. amusing and also Dan's facial expressions are still awesome. Doug as Prouvaire is also absolutely thrilled for lovestruck Marius in ABC Café, which... awwwww. Trafton as R would actually be okay if he weren't, y'know, Trafton. He was molesting Marius and being silly with "better than an opera-a-a-a," but given that he looks and sounds like a ninth-grade boy, it just didn't work.

Had Box D for the evening, next to a Singaporean guy who was almost certainly flirting with me, and we moved down to A1 and A3 at intermission. Shiny. Then at the stage door I wound up talking to--I shit you not--an ex-stage-manager accompanied by two French nuns and a priest. And the nuns wanted me to take photos of them with the actors. Despite this, stage door wasn't actually that eventful; I think everyone just wanted to go home and get out of the cold, and I don't particularly blame them.

Minarik was there after the matinee, but he was in a hurry, and all I managed to catch was that not only is he still out, he might not be back before the closing. This makes me very sad--I am going to miss that boy's cracktasticness, I don't want to see Trafton as R ever again really let alone the whole month of December, and I was looking forward to bawling my eyes out when Minarik waved the flag in the last final battle. (And if he really is out for the duration, that might mean a vacation swing, which would mean Jeremy Hays as Grantaire, which would break my brain.)

And now I need some goddamn sleep.
