I ate solid food tonight. :D Burger and fries.
I also went shopping. The bra and the long swishy skirt I'd been wanting for a while, but the rest was a total splurge--three dresses, three tops, and a pair of shoes. They're all absurdly pretty and guess what? I'm going to wear them in PARIS. The plane tickets are bought and the contract for the apartment arrived today.
And I love being able to buy pretty clothes without feeling guilty about it. Because see, my one annoyance working at the pet shop is that I can't wear anything I don't want to get dusty, shat on, or generally beat up, and I don't want to bother changing clothes before/after work. So I've been kinda half-goth for the past couple years: I still wear a lot of black, but never anything elaborate and I have a shocking amount of 'normal' clothing now. But now I only have six days of work left, after which point I can dress as fancifully as I please. So I can stock up on frilly black dresses without remorse. :D
