Clearly I need a Time-Turner.
So today I had no free time at all between 10am and 9pm, partly due to my own scheduling fail and partly due to whatever collective idiocy causes all extracurricular music directors (all of them, ever, even at Simon's Rock) to schedule rehearsals for Wednesday evenings. I'm going to try to switch up one of my classes, but if that doesn't work I might have to drop general chorus. That makes me sad, but the other choral ensemble I'm in (Voces Feminae, an early-music group) is gleefully awesome, so I'll still be getting my music fix.
Les Mis in Québec is tentatively planned for September 27, because it gives me time to plot a bit more and that's when there are good tickets left. I'll probably rent a Zipcar and take a few friends along to split the overhead, but there may be some possibility of finangling a school van out of the SGA if enough people want to go.
