Y'know, once I found a hub that'd let me in with my pathetic 2.5gb share... I discovered that Direct Connect is the shit. Seriously. Fuck Kazaa and eMule; DC fucking rules.

I'm not very computer-smart, but after one year of living in the dorms at college, I totally appreciate the awesomeness of DC. So fast and no spyware. LOVE IT.

Yeah. And so RELIABLE. On Kazaa and Emule, I can try to download something and get 'waiting'/'more sources needed' for days, or never get the damn song at all even though it showed up in the search, but on DC if it's there, you can download it.

And fast, yes. Currently downloading the entirety of NIN's The Fragile at about 20 seconds per song. You just find someone else with a T1 LAN connection and bang. On Kazaa 10kb/sec is unheard of, hah.

*is going to have at least 10 gigs of music by the time the month is out* Damn, man. Just, damn.
