And so, my first all-nighter of the spring semester. For no reason at all, other than I didn't feel like sleeping. Insomnia much?

I thought I didn't know this song, before I downloaded it and listened to it. Turns out it's one of those songs I'm vaguely aware of having heard many times before but can't place exactly where, because I definitely know the keyboard part. Hm. Maybe it was that 70s/80s radio station my elementary school bus driver always tuned to.

I'm not consciously aware of any loss of brain function at the moment, but I keep repeating or mixing up words and only realizing it when I read over the sentence a second later. Interesting.

Started acne meds last night. They all have these big fat warning stickers that say 'warning: may cause photosensitivity. avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight during use.' As if I needed to be even more photosensitive--bah.

Well, there goes my life for the next five weeks. Attended the first rehearsal for Company, and apparently not only are there Monday/Wednesday/Friday rehearsals at exactly the same time as my German class, but we have night meetings for readings and choreography on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm going to have to ask when the backup group [which I'm in] will be rehearsing and just skip the ones where we don't do as much, because like FUCK am I going to give up on German class. Also I have to fit violin lessons and tae kwon do around that and four other classes, my first six-page paper of the semester is due in a week, I have to memorize, deliver, and write a response to an eleven-line speech from Hamlet by the day after tomorrow, and my Tuesday/Thursday class has five textbooks. FIVE. TEXTBOOKS. For one class. I really don't want to know what that class is going to be like.

These are the types of situations where I wish I had a large network of friends. Not for moral support, mind you, but because if you know enough people surely you can find someone who will hook you up with some amphetamines. As it stands, caffeine will have to do. Sigh.

I really shouldn't be driving while sleep-deprived, but I need to go into town liek whoa. Curses.

Been fooling around with the tablet; there's a big Phantom movie poster over my bed, so of course I had to produce ( this )

Overall, I don't think it's half bad for my second tablet drawing; I was certainly able to work more light and shadow in there than I would sketching on paper and pencil, and although there are several points of fuck-up-itude, such as her cheek or his nose or my general laziness in filling it in, I even sorta like it.
