Oh Em Eff Gee
Jan. 19th, 2005 21:22Okay, snow bad. Malfunctioning anti-lock brakes very bad. Driving a Jeep with faulty ABS in the middle of a snowstorm at night on unplowed back country roads and loose snow REALLY FUCKING BAD, even if you're being nice and giving a lift to someone who'd ordinarily have to walk two and a half miles in that shit.
Ironically, nothing at all happened until we got onto Main Street going 15 miles an hour in a straight line. The car randomly decided to start fishtailing all over the place, and once I got it back under control I noticed that the stoplight was red and we were right in the middle of the intersection. I slammed the brakes. The brakes went 'ha ha, f00, we no work for j00.' We slid right through the intersection in a cloud of snow and profanities. No one got hurt or hit, or even had to slam on the brakes besides us, but tres tres annoying.
Anyway, chorus was fun. Even if I got put on swing again and had to constantly switch between soprano and tenor, which gave me just a bit of vocal whiplash. Yeah.
