Erg, the Internet here is sort of... iffy. But the signal strength is okay if I sit right next to the door... but there are no outlets here, heh.

Was taken to a number of tourist-y places yesterday and this morning. Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace (and yes, we saw the changing of the guard, except we had to pick the hottest and sunniest day of the year to wait forty-five minutes for it...), and so on. Westminster Abbey was cool, but the rest of it was rather underwhelming. But this afternoon? We went to Camden. I think I'm in love. It's like... South Street on crack. And with more haggling. So going back there to the Electric Ballroom on Friday, even if they don't have Full Tilt anymore.

Went out to dinner with a friend of dad's who lives here. She showed us, among other things, the half-price ticket booth, the upshot of which is that I have a fairly decent seat for Les Miserables tomorrow night. w00t. And JOJ is Valjean. Double w00t.

Also, apparently I am not going to the Electric Ballroom on Friday, because guess what's on Friday? That's right, the Waterstones Harry Potter party on Oxford Street, which is like.. a block from the hotel. Dude. DUDE. The day after tomorrow I'm going to be going to the release party for Half-Blood Prince. It still hasn't really sunk in.

Overall, this London experience has been a bit... well, strange. I like it. A lot. But I was expecting to fall head over heels in love with it, which hasn't completely happened yet, so I feel disappointed, and I know I shouldn't because London is awesome. Oh hell, I should just relax and enjoy it...
